Your party, which has already had golden moments in the political life of our country, cannot take advantage, because it is in power, to launch these ambitious young people caninely into crusades of insults and defamation against opponents or citizens who exercise their citizenship civicly and politely . There are ethical principles in political life that must be maintained and preserved. Unfortunately, we are witnessing a permanent degradation of these values that we have been cultivating.

The Lord will be confronted in a few days by a militant of the first hour, with proof and absolute dedication given to the MPD. A very unhappy cadre, with the deviations observed in the party's line of conduct, which was willing to challenge him for the disjointed and mediocre way in which the Lord has led the MPD and, as a direct consequence, the country. The pertinent and assertive challenge of Dr. Orlando Dias is a clear answer to the way in which the Lord has neglected the governance of Cape Verde!!

Fortunately, in the face of this widespread mediocrity, we have to recognize that Dr. Orlando Dias has every reason and legitimacy to believe that the Lord has already proven that he has not given evidence of the capacity, fairness and pragmatism to continue to lead your party.

In fact, in 7 years (84 long months) we have already seen that you will undoubtedly be the first Head of Government to hand over to your successor a country far worse than the one you received!!

In all aspects!!

In the health sectors, in education, in growing poverty and widespread hunger, never seen before, after Independence!!

Were it not only for these degrading social data, we still have a high unemployment rate, especially among young people!

A rampant, uncontrollable external debt that I consider unpayable, plus permanent intransparency and opacity in the management of public affairs.

There is a general feeling of insecurity, with crime on the rise, with citizens and their families confined to their homes after dark, especially in the capital. It endowed itself with a slow public administration populated by unprepared people!! Including his squad of Ministers and Secretaries of State, National Directors, General Directors, CEO, s of public companies and Institutes, advisors and others with management contracts, in which the great part know little or nothing and less do!! But all enjoying disproportionate protection and high remuneration! Almost all herded into their party hosts!! It has the transport sector in real chaos and transformed into a huge drain on resources!!

It managed, with one exception or another, to have the State business sector in a permanent deficit crisis!

We have reached the point where citizens no longer have confidence in the institutions of the Republic! Today it is easy to see the permanent degradation of ethical and moral principles in his management.

The Lord is the main culprit and promoter of this corrosion of values.

This is the country that Ulisses Correia e Silva will pass on to whoever replaces him.
