The president of Brava City Council expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the party, Movement for Democracy (MpD), to run for another term, highlighting that the next term will be a completely new cycle for the island.
In an interview with Inforpress, Francisco Tavares said today that he thanks the MpD for the trust placed in his council team, adding that this is the result of a survey, for which he thanks the population of Brava, who, in his opinion, have evaluated it “ positively ”. your mandate.
“ We are facing this naturally and with great responsibility, taking into account that our vision for the development of this municipality is known. In this mandate we had two stronger years of Covid-19's effect, and this delayed the execution and achievement of some objectives” , he highlighted.
According to the mayor, the municipality is focused on fulfilling the electoral platform's activity plan for the year 2020/24 and “logically” with its eyes set on presenting a new electoral platform afterwards.
“ We hope that the population will once again have the floor to comment on the vision of our ideas and our way of being in municipal management, what they expect in the coming times. It will be a new cycle, taking into account that we will solve the problem of water, transport and earthquakes, a clear sign of the construction of a new health center ”, he concluded.
