Dance and theater group Remember Tempo prepares its first performance on the island
This Saturday, 23rd, the dance and theater group from Brava, in Nova Sintra, at 8:00 pm, presents a set of activities to celebrate theater month.
“Since then we have been inactive, however, recently we started to notice that many young people started to take dark paths, and with that, we thought it would be good to reactivate the group again, this time, with dance and theater”, he highlighted, justifying that it is to give more occupations for young people and recovering the culture and tradition that have been disappearing.
According to the same source, the group is made up of 27 members, ten children, eight young people and eight adults. “Our rehearsals are carried out at school, in the town of Lém, but the ensemble is not school-based, but community-based,” he explained.
“We have our first activity scheduled for Saturday, the 23rd, with the aim of celebrating theater month, however, also to honor his wife and father. Some traditional dances will be portrayed, because nowadays, events only address recent dances and we are here to remember our antiquity”, he highlighted
Maria Antónia also informed that the public will have to pay a symbolic price to watch the activities, considering the group still has nothing” and therefore wants to raise funds so that it can start taking its first steps.
“We appeal to all Braves who want to relax and have fun this Saturday, to come and participate in our event, and I guarantee, for sure, that you will have a relaxing and fun night”, he promised.
