Cape Verdean man still in custody after violent confrontation in Rotterdam, Netherlands

A 32-year-old man from Cape Verde remains in police custody following a violent confrontation in the early hours of Thursday morning in the center of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The incident involved eighteen people and resulted in the stabbing of one individual, who was taken to hospital for treatment, as reported by public broadcaster NOS.

The police detained all those involved and recovered the suspected weapon - a knife. Although most of the detainees have already been released, they remain under investigation. The Cape Verdean man, however, remains in custody while the authorities investigate further.
