Brava City Council promotes morning dedicated to health and well-being with physical activities in Furna
On July 12, the Brava City Council and the Sports and Youth Institute are promoting a morning of physical activities in the town of Furna, with walking, gymnastics and gymkhanas. The event aims to encourage healthy habits and community interaction, with free transportation available from 07h30.

Brava Town Hall, in partnership with the Institute of Sport and Youth (IDJ), is preparing a special morning full of energy, movement and community spirit. The initiative, scheduled for July 12, will take place in the town of Furna and invites the entire population to take part in physical activities and moments to raise awareness of a healthier lifestyle.
The event kicks off at 07h30, with free transportation provided from Praça Eugénio Tavares and the Nossa Senhora do Monte Multipurpose Hall, guaranteeing the participation of people from different parts of the island.
Among the activities planned are walks, group exercise sessions, rhythmic gymkhanas and moments to share and raise awareness about health and well-being. The aim is to promote regular physical exercise and strengthen community ties.
"We want to create an environment where people feel motivated to take care of their bodies and minds, always in a good mood and in the spirit of community," says the organization.
The municipality and IDJ are calling for the population to join in en masse and guarantee that the event will be a unique opportunity to combine fun, health and socializing.
