Brava: Maya Furtado and Leandro Barros are the winners of Miss and Mister Liceu 2025
Candidates Maya Furtado and Leandro Barros were crowned winners of the first edition of Miss and Mister Liceu in Brava, held on Saturday, at the Santana sports center, by the finalists committee of the Eugénio Tavares Secondary School (ESET).
Speaking to Inforpress, the president of the ESET finalist committee, Helaine Lopes, gave a positive assessment of this gala, which was attended by 14 candidates, highlighting that despite the “slight delay” recorded, everything went smoothly.
According to the same source, the winners have all the conditions to represent Brava in Miss Inter-liceus and even win.
“I thank my colleagues and sponsors who made this moment possible, but also our audience who came to support their candidates,” he said.
In turn, Miss Liceu 2025, Maya Furtado, stressed that she was not expecting to win, considering that the other candidates were doing well.
“I am very happy, it is my first time participating in a parade and I ended up winning, I hope to represent my island in the best way possible at Miss Inter-Lyceums, later on”, he stressed.
Leandro Barros was also very pleased with the victory and thanked a friend who encouraged him to participate in the competition.
“I didn’t want to apply for this competition, however I was convinced by a friend and today I ended up winning, so I am very grateful to everyone who supported me”, he concluded.
