Brava Regional Football Association thanks Académica for donation
The Brava Regional Football Association, in the person of its President Samuel Varela, publicly expressed its deep gratitude to Mr. Alfredo Lobo, known as "Fey Di Lica", and Mr. Jorge Lima, both resident in the United States of America, for the important gesture of solidarity shown towards soccer on the island.
The two benefactors have offered the Académica da Brava team two complete sets of equipment, several training vests and 11 balls, making a significant contribution to improving the team's working conditions and preparation.
According to the Brava Regional Football Association, this gesture represents a clear commitment to the development of soccer on the island and reinforces the Cape Verdean diaspora's spirit of support for local sporting initiatives.
The association also stressed that initiatives like this are fundamental to strengthening sport in the region and encouraging young athletes to continue practicing soccer under better conditions.
