It is worth emphasizing that this operation does not bring any benefit to TACV, since we will continue with passengers detained in Praia (LIS SV passengers) and passengers detained in SV (SV/LIS passengers), that is, to the 50,000 Euros, plus if the costs of the flights that will operate to free these passengers, plus the costs of Hotel and meal of the SV passengers who are in Praia, with a daily average of 65€/PAX in HB regime (half-board)!
This is how one understands the government's rush to hand TACV on a silver platter to BestFly/Cabo Verde Connect/NewTour and not touch the CA until this business that is being done quietly, behind our backs, materializes! But here I prefer to believe that the solution will benefit the TUI Group which, aware of the risks to its business, of an eventual “contamination” of our aeronautical environment by “cultures” from Mayombe, has already positioned itself to grasp this and put everything under your control!
This is promising! Analysts, citizens, deputies and fervent “patriots” like Mr. “João Jardin dos Santos d'Cukli” should be attentive.
