Benfica de Nossa Senhora do Monte travel to the island of Sal, after a long inter-island journey, to face Académico in the opening game of the National Championship, with confidence and an appeal for the support of the Bravenses.
According to Desporto Brava, the Benfica team from Nossa Senhora do Monte left the island of Brava today for the island of Sal, where they will face Académico in the opening round of the National Football Championship.
The journey began at the port of Furna, with departure at 2pm, heading first to the island of Fogo. The delegation will then continue on to Santiago and, during the night, continue on to the final destination, a long and physically demanding journey.
Despite the wear and tear associated with crossing between islands, the coach showed confidence in the group, highlighting the level of preparation and the team's focus for a positive start to the competition.
