Brava Municipal Assembly unanimously approves pilot project for Furna
The Municipal Assembly of Brava unanimously approved the pilot project for landslide protection and climate shelter at the Furna pier, as part of the Sustainable Energy Access and Climate Action Plan.
The project, budgeted at 50 thousand contos, is 100% financed by Luxembourg Cooperation and will be executed under the responsibility of the Government of Cape Verde, through Infraestruturas de Cabo Verde (ICV).
This initiative is a strategic investment for the island, promoting greater resilience, inclusion and quality of life for all Bravens.
The City Council congratulates itself on this important achievement for the Furna community and for the entire island of Brava.
