Brava City Council supports young Vando cyclist by delivering bicycles for training and competitions
City of Nova Sintra, October 30, 2023 - Brava City Council once again demonstrated its commitment to the region's sporting development, by handing over a bicycle to the talented cyclist Vando, from the town of Cova Rodela. The initiative came from the Councilor for Sports, Mário Soares, in line with the policy of encouraging sports practices.
The gesture was a positive response to the young athlete's request, who expressed deep gratitude for the support given and committed to doing his best in all competitions in which he participates.
Vando, following in the footsteps of other athletes such as cyclist Alex da Veiga, has now seen his needs met with the donation of the bicycle, an essential piece of equipment for his training and competitions.
Councilor Mário Soares expressed his satisfaction in contributing to improving the conditions of athletes from Brava, aiming to enhance their performance in various sporting events.
This action by the City Council highlights the commitment to promoting and supporting local sporting talents, encouraging the development and active participation of young athletes in competitions, thus strengthening the region's sporting scene.
