Brava: President of Brava City Council said he was “highly satisfied” with the work of the Coast Guard
The president of Brava City Council, Francisco Tavares, said today that he is “highly satisfied” with the work of the Coast Guard during these eleven months of its installation in the municipality.
Speaking to the media, Francisco Tavares congratulated the corporation on its thirtieth anniversary and also informed that more than twenty patient transfers had already been carried out in “record time”, thanks to the good performance of the “guardians”.
According to the same source, thanks to this corporation, many lives have already been saved on Brava and he also considered that the placement of the Coast Guard on the island was a commendable initiative on the part of the Government.
The mayor concluded by admitting that the corporation brings enormous security to all the populations of Brava and also to those who visit the island.
