Brava receives visit from the Prime Minister between January 31st and February 3rd
The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, will be making an official visit to the municipality of Brava from Saturday 31st, with an agenda focused on signing protocols, inaugurations, monitoring structural works and meetings with economic agents.
The visit, which will begin this Saturday afternoon and run until February 3rd, will include a reception for the government delegation at the Brava Town Hall, followed by the signing of various protocols and contracts with a direct impact on the social, urban and economic development of the municipality.
The program includes visits to various ongoing projects, including the Nova Sintra Shopping Centre, urban regeneration works, cultural and tourist facilities, as well as the inauguration of Praça Matilde, in Fajã d'Água, as part of the Program for the Tourist and Environmental Enhancement of Rural Villages.
The agenda also includes visits to educational and accessibility infrastructures, as well as the inauguration of a privately-invested crushing plant.
The head of government's trip ends on February 3, with a visit to the cable car in the town of Lomba, followed by a general debriefing meeting and the official closing of the visit to the municipality of Brava.
The visit aims to strengthen government support for ongoing public and private investments, as well as consolidating partnerships for the sustainable development of the island of Brava.
