Brava: Court sentences individual to 12 years and 11 months in prison for the crime of sexual abuse of a minor
The Brava District Court today sentenced a 44-year-old man to 12 years and eleven months in prison for the crime of sexual assault against a 5-year-old child.
The case occurred on June 3, 2023, when the Public Prosecutor's Office applied preventive detention to the defendant as a measure of coercion, having awaited the trial and the reading of the sentence at the Civil Prison of Ilha do Fogo.
Today, he was sentenced to prison and compensation of 300 thousand escudos.
