Around a dozen people, living in different locations in the municipality, reached out to the media today to express their dissatisfaction with the lack of public lighting that has been affecting several areas in Brava.

“We live in the most submerged areas, we have no lighting, the person responsible for Electra is already aware of this situation, because he came to see for himself, however, they said they will send technicians to change the light bulbs, but so far they have not arrived. to do”, he highlighted.

According to the same source, he managed to repair one of the lights on his street, with the support of an emigrant neighbor who provided him with a lamp.

“The population pays for public lighting and that is why we want to assert our right, those responsible know that the maintenance of streetlights is necessary, which is why we call for this problem to be resolved as soon as possible”, he stated.

Daieltom Delgado, a resident of Lém, said that it has been more than five months since those responsible for Electra have been saying that they will solve the problem, but, according to him, they never arrive.

In turn, Rosa Maria da Rosa, resident of the Ponta Baixo area, called for street lighting, further back from the city, so that there is safety and well-being for everyone.

“We ask those who have the right to pay more attention to the population of Brava, as in several communities in the municipality there has been poor street lighting, as they are not changing light bulbs that do not work”, he concluded.
