Bravenses want better management of ticket sales for passengers from Fogo and Brava to Santiago
The people of Brava complained today about the difficulty of buying a ticket to and from the island of Santiago on CV Interilhas and called for better organization in the distribution of ticket sales between Fogo and Brava.
According to Inforpress interviewees, it has been "difficult" to find a ticket for children and even adults since the return of the Kriola ship.
In statements to Inforpress, António Rodrigues said that he was currently having "great difficulty" leaving the island of Brava and getting to the city of Praia, where he has an interview scheduled at the Embassy of the United States of America.
"At the beginning of the month I had a ticket for the fifth on the Dona Tututa boat, but I ended up missing the meeting due to the transportation problem, and this time I've already seen that I'm going to miss it again because I've rescheduled the interview, but I'm not getting a place to travel," she said.
As he saw it, he could travel to the island of Fogo and buy a plane ticket from there, but he's not getting a ticket either.
For her part, Mrs. Ananci Duarte, who wanted to accompany her daughter to an interview at the same embassy in Praia, said that she couldn't find a ticket to the capital, even though she had decided that she could travel to Fogo and then fly on.
"It's very difficult to travel to the island of Santiago because they say there's no room for children and even for adults, it's difficult to get a ticket," he said.
In this sense, the same source appealed to those in charge of CV Interilhas to do a better job of managing the sale of tickets to Fogo and Brava, because, he said, if residents on the island of Fogo buy all the trips, the Bravenses won't be able to travel.
"Or the case would be to increase the connection on the Praia-Brava route and vice versa, taking into account that we are in the school vacation season and the trend is for many entries and exits from the island," he suggested.
The ship Kriola resumed the maritime connection on the Sotavento route on the 9th of this month, after several weeks out of operation due to inspections and technical updates.
