The trainees of the professional training courses at Brava were “very excited and expectant” with the resumption of the training actions, which are already in the conclusion phase.

The person in charge of education and training at Brava, Mário Soares, said that the courses were resumed on the 2nd, through a statement from the Center for Employment and Vocational Training of Fogo for the resumption of training actions in the Fogo and Brava region which were suspended due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus (covid-19).

On the island, according to the same source, courses in Customer Service and Users, Training in Kitchen and Pastry and Level I training in Kitchen and Pastry have already been resumed.

To resume, Mário Soares advanced that they are following the rules and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, especially with regard to procedures for preventing contagion.

He informed that in terms of hygiene, the use of a mask is mandatory, and that at the entrance there is alcohol gel for hand disinfection, both for trainees and trainers, as well as for customers.

On the issue of support, he stressed that for trainees from more distant locations, the city council has been ensuring the transport service.

Especially because, for this official, "this recovery was already a necessity, taking into account that it is necessary to recover the country's economy and training", adding that the expectations of young people are to work so that there is the impact that has always been projected, since the beginning of the actions.

He added that the Attendance courses and another training course are scheduled to end in the last week of June and the Level I one by mid-July.
