ESET students promote miss and mister high school 2025 contest
The senior committee of the Eugénio Tavares Secondary School (ESET), in Brava, is holding its first Miss and Mister High School gala this Saturday at the Santana sports center in Nova Sintra.
Speaking to Inforpress, the president of ESET's finalist committee, Helaine Lopes, said that the 2025 event, whose motto is "Emigration, a story that connects us to the world", will start at 19:00.
"The theme was chosen because this island has a lot to do with emigration and at the gala we want to portray this phenomenon. Fourteen candidates, including boys and girls, will take part in the parade, presenting different outfits that will be assessed by a group of judges," he said.
In addition to the parades, the activity will feature performances by artists and dance groups.
According to the same source, tickets are already on sale from the students who are part of the committee, at a price of 500 escudos for adults and 300 escudos for children.
The official appealed to all Bravenses who want to have a fun Saturday to buy their ticket and go support their favorite candidate, since "the contest promises".
