Football/Brava: Furna beats Nossa Senhora do Monte to reach the semi-finals of the Inter-Zone Tournament
The Furna team beat Nossa Senhora do Monte 2-1 today in the fifth and final match of the group stage of the III edition of the Inter-Zones Tournament and secured their place in the semi-finals.
In the other game in the group, Pé di Rotxa beat Gambia 3-1 to take their tally to 10 points, the same as the team from Nossa Senhora do Monte, who despite losing also secured qualification for the next stage.
Lém, meanwhile, beat Cachaço 3-1 to end this phase on eight points and also secure their place in the semi-finals.
The Gambian team and Cachaço miss out on the next stage.
Thus, Pé di Rotxa, Nossa Senhora do Monte, Furna and Lém are the four semi-finalists in this edition of the tournament.
