Football/Brava: Morabeza - Benfica match is the poster for the 1st round of the Opening Tournament
The match between Morabeza and Benfica, scheduled for 14:00 today at the Aquiles D'Oliveira municipal stadium, marks the start of the first round of the 2025/26 Opening Tournament.
At the same stadium, at 16:00, Académica and Nô Pintxa meet.
The Opening Tournament is a preparatory match played by the four 1st division teams in a two-round all-against-all format and precedes the regional championship, which in turn starts on January 11, 2026, while the regional cup has yet to be scheduled.
