Football/Brava: Morabeza defeats Nô Pintcha 3-1 in the third round of the regional tournament.
The Morabeza team won today against Nô Pintcha by 3-1, in a match corresponding to the third round of the regional football championship of Brava Island, played at the Aquiles de Oliveira Stadium.
Morabeza's goals were scored by Deu and Fufuco, who scored twice in the match, while Nô Pintcha's consolation goal was scored by Alex.
In the other game of the day, Benfica thrashed Académica 4-0, with goals from Dy, Tony, Driko and Ricky, confirming the good form of the Benfica team in the competition.
With these results, Benfica maintains its lead in the standings with nine points, followed by Morabeza with six. Nô Pintcha occupies third place with three points, while Académica has yet to score any points in this edition of the regional championship.
The games of the Brava regional championship will be interspersed with those of the Brava Cup, a competition that will be contested by the island's four federated teams, namely Benfica, Académica, Morabeza and Nô Pintcha.
