Known for her "looking for luxury in the trash" initiative, Fortes has dedicated part of her time to collecting food, toys, electronics and various other goods that, despite being new or barely used, have been discarded. The aim is simple but powerful: to give these products a second life and put them in the hands of those who really need them.

In a conversation with Bravanews, Lena Fortes explained that her motivation stems from the realization that many people can't afford to buy basic items, while others end up in the trash in perfect condition.

"With this, I'm trying to help people who can't afford to buy," he said.

Bravense stresses that, in addition to the social impact, the initiative also contributes to reducing waste, drawing attention to the large amount of still useful goods that are discarded every day.

Fortes' action has been seen by many as an example of practical solidarity and environmental awareness, showing that small individual gestures can make a big difference to the lives of vulnerable families.

With this mission, Lena Fortes continues to go through container after container, determined to turn what many consider to be garbage into hope for those who need it most.
