Morabeza receives monetary support from Brava City Council
Sport Clube Morabeza was received today at the Brava City Council by Mr. Councilor for Sports, Mário Soares, in a symbolic act at the request of Morabeza's leaders with the purpose of thanking the City Council for the support it has been providing to the clubs of football in Brava and Morabeza in particular.
The Councilor took the opportunity, in the first instance, to, once again, congratulate the Morabeza team for winning the championship, the Taça da Brava and the opening tournament.
The CMB Sports Department is pleased with this recognition and reinforces the municipality's total commitment to continue supporting the clubs. It should be noted that in this 2023/2024 sports season, the City Council significantly increased the subsidy from 100,000$00 allocated in the previous season to 150,000$00 per club in the current season.
At this meeting, which was attended by some club directors, the coach and some players, the Chamber awarded the prize for participation in the National Championship in the amount of 50,000$00 and committed to giving another prize of the same value in case of progress to the group stage.
We wish much success to this team that is representing Brava in the upcoming clashes and that will certainly count on the support of all Bravans.
