The page Desporto Brava has had access to an official letter sent by the management of the club Nô Pintxa to the Associação Regional de Futebol da Brava, in which the club announced its withdrawal from all regional competitions currently underway.

According to the document, Nô Pintxa's management points to the bad refereeing as the main reason for the decision, claiming that the team has been successively disadvantaged throughout the competition. In addition to the refereeing issue, the club also refers to the existence of other internal factors that contributed to taking this extreme position.

The decision represents a major blow for Bravense soccer, especially in a year in which great efforts have been made to ensure the return of official competitions to the island. The withdrawal of a historic club like Nô Pintxa raises concerns about the stability and future of local soccer.

Brava does not deserve to live in a climate of uncertainty, where a sporting season begins without a guarantee of its continuity. Although it is technically possible to continue the competitions with just three teams, this scenario tends to discourage clubs, athletes, fans and the population in general, reducing the enthusiasm for the sport.

It is important to note, however, that the competitions have been taking place normally, with strong crowds, demonstrating the interest and joy of the population in the return of soccer to the island. It now remains to be seen whether this was a decision taken in the heat of the moment or whether Nô Pintxa, a club with a long history and tradition in Bravense sport, will actually abandon regional competitions once and for all.

It should be remembered that there are two consecutive rounds of the Brava Cup and that this Sunday there was already a match scheduled between Nô Pintxa and Morabeza.

The Desporto Brava page remains open to any clarifications that the leaders of Nô Pintxa wish to provide, in the name of transparency, dialogue and good understanding in the island's football.

Desporto Brava, bringing you the best in sport.
