No reaction to the official car that crashed in Faja D'Agua

City of Nova Sintra, 16 August 2020 (Bravanews) - The Mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, who normally goes public daily through social media to defend himself against any criticism of the City Council, this time remains mute and falling, in relation to the official vehicle that had an accident in Faja D'Agua.

The Official car (photo) that had an accident at dawn last week in Faja D'Agua, with the Sports Councilor in its direction, continues to revolt the population of Brava.

It is even more revolting that the authorities, in this case not even the Alderman, especially the Chief Defender, the Mayor of Brava, come to the public to justify what an official vehicle was doing, one morning, in Faja D'Agua.

The abusive use of official vehicles is a constant practice in Cape Verde and the island of Brava is no exception to the rule. Every other day, official entities and civil servants are seen driving these vehicles.

These vehicles circulate, in private use, using fuel paid with taxes from the people of Brave, without the responsible being punished, although there are laws for this purpose.

This council vehicle will either be considered lost or its repair will cost the public coffers dearly.
