Pre-school pedagogical coordination performs enrollment of students for the first year of EBI

The pre-school pedagogical coordinator on Brava Island said today that this year, it is the kindergarten teachers who will collect documents to enroll students in Basic Education as a way to facilitate parents.

Speaking to Inforpress, Fernanda Burgo explained that due to the situation experienced worldwide, caused by the covid-19 pandemic, they took this initiative, so that parents are not running from one side to another in the clearance of processes.

From there, he said that for pre-school children aged five, who will enter the first year of Integrated Basic Education in the 2020/2021 school year, the guidance counselors already have some documents requested at the time of registration.

And the others who do not have it, as well as the form that must be filled in with data from those responsible for the education, will be made available to the parents and then collected by the monitors, who will deliver them to the Nova Sintra Educational Complex or the Nossa Senhora Basic School. do Monte, depending on the parish where they are in service.

Also, the person in charge underlined that the monitors had already received orientations to evaluate the children, based on the two quarters, taking into account that these data will be necessary to be included in the final report that will be made by the pedagogical coordination of this service.

Asked about the number of pre-school students, Fernanda Burgo said that this school year, there were about 300 children, including 3-year-olds who are not part of the system yet.
