President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, presides over the 3rd edition of the DjarFogo International Film Festival
His Excellency the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, will lead the opening of the third edition of the DjarFogo International Film Festival (DIFF) tomorrow, Monday, November 6th. The festival is an initiative of Txan Film Productions & Visual Arts, in collaboration with Mount Saint Mary's University/Hollywood Studio Campus and Fundação Amílcar Cabral. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 9 am at the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), in the city of Praia.
DIFF stands out as a platform dedicated to celebrating and promoting international cinema, providing opportunities for filmmakers to share their works and artistic visions. Furthermore, the festival represents an important academic partnership between internationally renowned and local institutions, enabling cultural and educational exchange.
With a diverse program that includes film screenings, discussion panels and workshops, DIFF promises to offer an enriching experience to participants, stimulating dialogue about the seventh art and its various aspects.
