PR highlights belief in youth from Brave and Cape Verde

The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, visited this Tuesday, the Lyceum Eugénio Tavares, in Nova Sintra, having given a master class on the theme “The Young People and the Future of Cape Verde”. In its central message, PR Neves emphasizes its “enormous belief in the ability and talent of Brave and Cape Verdean youth to achieve their dreams. The secret to this is to be open-minded and persevere.

Neves recalls the glorious past of Ilha das Flores, once the cradle of the intelligentsia, at a time when the only high school in the country (seminar) operated on that island.

Brava gave the country names like Eugénio Tavares José João Dias, Loff Vasconcelos, and more current ones like the brothers Donald and Vinnie Macedo. These last examples of the enormous potential of the Diaspora Brave, especially in the USA.
