Reconstruction of the Brava Shopping Center enters the final stretch and promises to boost the local economy
The island of Brava is about to gain a new, modern shopping area. Brava Town Hall has announced that the island's new shopping center is in the final stages of completion, a project considered strategic for the municipality's economic and social development.
According to the city council's press release, the total rehabilitation of the space was 100% financed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Luxembourg Cooperation, an international partnership that reflects the confidence of these organizations in the potential for growth and transformation of Cape Verde's greenest island.
One of the project's highlights is the fact that the entire rehabilitation plan was designed by the Brava City Council's Technical Office. For the municipality, this achievement reaffirms the technical capacity, vision and professionalism of the local team in creating modern solutions tailored to the real needs of the residents.
The City Council also stresses that, very soon, the Shopping Center will be officially handed over to the vendors and opened to the general public. More than just a place to buy and sell, the new shopping center aims to be a real driving force for economic dynamism, offering better conditions of comfort, organization and dignity for both traders and consumers.
With this project, Brava is taking another firm step towards modernizing its commercial infrastructures, investing in solid partnerships and work focused on sustainable development and the well-being of the population.
The municipality concludes by stating that the island continues to transform itself, consolidating a future based on cooperation, local expertise and valuing trade as an essential pillar of the Brava economy.
