TAP receives tomorrow a new Airbus A321LR from TAP that will receive the registration CS-TXM
Part of the order for 14 units of the Airbus A321LR, the next aircraft to join the fleet is the MSN 11304, which will receive the national registration CS-TXM. This aircraft, which allows TAP to carry out transatlantic flights to the USA, Canada and the north of Brazil in a more economical way, is part of the strategy that the company was implementing before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This delivery could come to finalize the deliveries of Airbus A321LR to TAP, since the last Consolidated Management Report, referring to 2022 delivered to CMVM, TAP refers that it was agreed with Airbus the conversion of the aircraft ranking #30 to an A320N ( initially the aircraft was planned to be an A321LR).
TAP's A321LR has capacity for 171 passengers, with 16 seats in executive class with comfort similar to a widebody aircraft, 48 seats in premium economy and 107 in economy.
