Estrada de Nossa Senhora do Monte was NEVER in the PLANS of the Government of Cape Verde - Minister of Infrastructure

Minister of Infrastructure confirms in parliament that the Road to Nossa Senhora do Monte will be built with the REST of money left over from other works by the Government of Cape Verde.

National Deputy, Municipal Deputies and President of the Chamber of Brava, ALL MPD, DENIED by the Minister of Infrastructure who explained that the non-financing of the Nossa Senhora do Monte road has NOTHING to do with environmental issues.

Nossa Senhora do Monte will NOT have a tarred road because the Government DOES NOT WANT to spend 3 TIMES more to build a road with the QUALITY of the FURNA/NOVA SINTRA road. And it is therefore false that the tarred road would cost around 600 thousand contos, but it was about 400 thousand contos. THIS FOR THIS GOVERNMENT IS TOO MUCH FOR THE BRAVA.

THE GOVERNMENT OF CAPE VERDE CONSIDERS THAT THE AMOUNT SPENT TO BUILD A ROAD OF THE QUALITY THAT CONNECTS FURNA TO NOVA SINTRA WILL NEVER BE SPENT IN BRAVA.

But here comes the Special Statute of the BEACH that will receive even more MONEY FROM THE STATE.
