Grupo Tradição performs doll baptism to raise funds for people with disabilities on Ilha Brava
Pawtucket, 15 July 2023 - The "Tradition" Group, based in the United States of America, has decided to organize a unique and exciting event to raise funds and support people with disabilities on the island of Brava.
Said event will take place on July 29th, in the City of East Providence, Rhode Island, under the traditional “doll baptism” bringing the community together in a gesture of solidarity and love.
The initiative came from a group of volunteers from Grupo Tradição, which has been dedicated to social and community causes for years. With the aim of providing financial support to institutions and programs that serve people with disabilities on the island, they decided to create a unique way to attract attention and involve the community in their actions.
The doll's baptism, a pretext for holding this event, explains the importance of the initiative for the community and emphasizes the need for continuous support for people with disabilities.
