Ulisses Correia e Silva swears in new MpD County Political Committee
According to a press release, the political event will take place in the Auditorium of the Eugénio Tavares High School in the town of Nova Sintra, starting at 5:30pm, and will be attended by the party's president, Ulisses Correia e Silva.
The election and now inauguration of Samuel Varela and his team are part of a process of "strengthening the party structure" at county level, with the aim of boosting the party's performance on the "Island of Flores" and preparing for the next political challenges.
The local MpD structure stresses that the event is open to all militants, sympathizers and guests, calling for the massive participation of the Bravense population.
For the party, this moment represents an important step in strengthening local democracy and encouraging citizens' civic involvement.
