In their first match, Académica hosted Nô Pintcha in a game that got off to a somewhat lukewarm start. Even so, Académica were tactically well composed, organized on the pitch and with a good attitude. The young players didn't shy away from Nô Pintcha; on the contrary, they loosened up as the minutes went by and took control of operations.

The match ended in a nil-nil draw, but there was one move that could have changed the course of the game, as Académica needed a win to guarantee their place in the semi-finals. A clear penalty by Fify on Dany was missed, even though the referee was only a few meters away. To the surprise of many, an attacking foul was also called. The decision sparked protests in the stands and left the feeling that the game could have turned out differently.

In the second match of the day, which was eagerly awaited to decide who would go straight through to the final, Morabeza came out with a bang. They scored two goals and could have extended their lead against a Benfica side that looked bewildered in the first few minutes.

However, Benfica reacted in the first half, reduced the deficit and came back from the break with a different attitude and more spirit. Morabeza were outnumbered after central defender Dé was sent off for yellow card accumulation - a correct decision by the refereeing team.

The most controversial move of the match came with a penalty awarded by linesman Artur Jorge Fortes Fortes and confirmed by central referee Ovídio Tavares. For many, there weren't enough reasons for the penalty, which once again inflamed the atmosphere on and off the pitch.

The game ended in a two-all draw. With this result, Morabeza go straight through to the final of the Brava Cup, while Benfica will face Nô Pintcha in the semi-finals. An intense match, marked by controversial decisions, strong emotions and a truly dramatic ending.
