PR wants complementarity and subsidiarity between public and private for better quality of health services
This Monday, the President of the Republic visited some public and private health institutions, congratulating himself on the progress made so far, recognizing, however, the many challenges along the way. In the mental health sector, in particular, Neves recognizes the efforts of the private sector and defends an administration that is more open to partnerships, in a logic of complementarity and subsidiarity between public and private.
The visits made to the Agostinho Neto Hospital, the Psychological Care Center, the National Institute of Public Health and the Santiago Polyclinic took place within the framework of International Mental Health Day, which takes place this Tuesday, October 10th. An opportunity for the Head of State to appeal to society's care for the mentally ill and respect for their universal rights.
