Veronica Duarte, known as Lena, who previously worked in a restaurant, was diagnosed with something that resulted in the loss of movement in her legs. In a statement on social networks, the young woman claims that more than a month ago she lost the movement of both legs and “I went to Fogo Island, but the doctors said they had no solution for the case” and for that “I ask for solidarity from everyone, even if they are small, to seek specialized treatment and get out of this situation”.

Determined to fight for her independence and recover her quality of life, Veronica decided to start a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of treatment and medical expenses.
