Prime Minister begins official visit to Brava Island
Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva begins an official visit to the Municipality of Brava today, which will last until February 3rd, with an agenda focused on signing agreements, inaugurations, monitoring works, and meetings with economic agents.
The program includes visits to key projects, such as the Nova Sintra Shopping Center, urban rehabilitation works, cultural and tourist facilities, as well as the inauguration of Praça Matilde, in Fajã d'Água, as part of the Program for the Tourist and Environmental Enhancement of Rural Villages.
The agenda also includes visits to educational infrastructure, accessibility projects, and the inauguration of a privately invested crushing plant. The trip concludes with a visit to the Lomba cable car and a general review meeting.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen government oversight of public and private investments and to consolidate partnerships for the sustainable development of Brava Island.
