Brava Municipal Budget and Activity Plan for 2026
Exmos Bravenses, Militants and Colleagues of the Municipal Assembly, of the MpD, PAICV, and fellow Bravenses scattered around the world
I would like to share with you my reasons for voting in favor of the Brava Municipality's Plan of Activities and Budget for the year 2026.
My position is inseparable from my sense of belonging to the party that elected me, the Movement for Democracy (MpD). I was elected with the trust of the people of Brava and the militants, and I carry the responsibility of honoring that trust, aligning my actions with the democratic precepts and foundations of our Party and Movement.
I have never had, nor will I ever have, the intention of harming the Bravense population. On the contrary, my responsibility is to protect the interests of the municipality and its citizens, and that includes agreeing to the management instruments proposed by the municipality when they prove crucial to local development.
I voted in favor of the Activity Plan and Budget for 2026 because I am convinced that these are fundamental and essential instruments for achieving our common goal: to provide the municipality of Brava with better living conditions and sustainability for all.
I believe in the potential of this plan to boost vital projects and create a more prosperous future on our island.
My political conviction remains unshaken. I will be, and remain, a strong, convinced and aware MPdist.
My vote in favor is not a blank check. It's a responsible vote of confidence that gives me the added duty of being an attentive and vigilant collector of the municipality's non-compliances. I will ensure that the objectives and targets set out in these management instruments are met in full.
To the citizens of Brava, I reaffirm my promise to be there for you, regardless of your party color. The mandate I have been given will be honored with dedication and I will do justice to your trust.
My political convictions are solid: I have not been, am not and will never be a traitor to those convictions.
My motto is clear: Brava first, MpD always!
