The first case dates back to the end of last May, in which the 72-year-old suspect, accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child with penetration, was held in custody awaiting trial.
The court sentenced this Friday the septuagenarian to 10 years in prison and a fine of 300,000 escudos to compensate the victim, according to the sentence.
The other case dates back to the beginning of last June, in which the Court of Brava applied, as a coercive measure, preventive detention to a male individual, aged 52, residing in Furna, suspected of committing the crime of sexual abuse. of children and exhibitionism, whose victims are 9 years old and a child aged 1 year and a few months.
This individual was sentenced to 8 years in prison for the crime of sexual aggression, 7 years for the crime of sexual abuse, 2 for the crime of exhibitionism, which, when combined with the law, ended up with 12 years in prison and 500 contos in fines, 250 of which for each victim.
On the 24th, the same court sentenced a 69-year-old male individual to seven years in prison for committing a crime of sexual assault against a 14-year-old child.
Also, in the context of crimes of abuse and sexual assault of minors, on the 21st of October, the same Court applied preventive detention to a male individual, residing in Mato, suspected of committing the crime of sexual abuse of a child.
According to information from a judicial source, the individual is in his 40s and the victim 4 years old.
The victim is the same one who was abused last May by the 72-year-old individual and the current suspect, according to a judicial source, is her stepfather, reinforcing that he has already been convicted at least twice for the crime of sexual assault on minors.
