Beach: Teenager takes his own life at the family home in Ponta d'Água
A 13-year-old teenager took his own life by hanging himself in his family's home in the Ponta d'Água neighborhood of Praia.
According to the president of the Maracanã Association, Carlos Tavares, who lamented the death of the teenager who attended the group's training sessions, said that the suicide would have occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, 17th, in the house where he lived.
The reasons that led to this decision are not yet known, but Carlos Tavares said that the teenager, who went by the name of Filipe, was “calm” and showed no signs of behavior, and that the coach is quite shaken by the news.
It should be remembered that the community was surprised early on Tuesday, 15th, by the premature death of 17-year-old Nilsa Lima, a secondary school student whose murder suspects are already in custody.
A judicial source told Inforpress that the perpetrator of the shots would have been the 19-year-old, according to the confession of another 22-year-old colleague, the first to be detained by the National Police, after being identified by acquaintances.
