Brava: PAICV promises to present a “team with a profile” to solve the island’s problems

The president of the Regional Political Commission of the PAICV (CPR – PAICV), Carlos Costa, guaranteed today that the party will present to the people of Brave a team “with a profile” for the elections scheduled for this year.

Carlos Costa made these statements in an interview with Inforpress, when he spoke of the expectations of the opposition in relation to the work of the party that is governing the island, the Movement for Democracy (MpD), hoping that, in the year that has just started, the autarchy can present solutions to the problems experienced on the island.

"We hope that this year, both the Chamber and the Government will manage to change the strategies to bring the happiness they promised to the people of Brave, promises that until then, very little or nothing, were able to fulfill", said the CPR leader.

Meanwhile, Carlos Costa promises that his party will continue to work, to create a “credible opposition, close to the people”, to draw attention to the aspects that they believe are less accomplished.

In addition, he guaranteed that for the 2020 elections they will present a “team at the height of power” to run for the chamber, “a team capable of helping the island to solve its problems”.

“A team with a proven profile, which respects the institutions and lives up to the expectations of the people of Brave”, stressed the manager.

He also added that, at the moment, they are designing the team, they already have names, contacts, commitments, but still cannot say who they are.
