Brava: Teenager indicted for the crime of qualified theft with socio-educational measure
The Brava District Court applied a socio-educational measure to a 15-year-old teenager indicted for the crime of aggravated theft, for which he will be sent to the Socio-Educational Center Orlando Pantera, on the island of Santiago.
This information was advanced to Inforpress by a judicial source, explaining that this teenager is supposedly a member of the Nossa Senhora do Monte group that has committed various crimes on the island.
According to the same source, of this group, two have been in custody since last April, and four other members are under coercive measures, with an obligation to stay and report periodically to the Brava Police Station.
On the 9th of June, another teenager, 15 years old, was also given a socio-educational measure and is now at the Orlando Pantera Centre, in the city of Praia.
Last week, residents of the parish of Nossa Senhora do Monte denounced to the press various acts of vandalism, robberies and thefts that have taken place in this parish.
