In a statement, the company said that the decision was taken following an updated analysis of the sea and wind conditions, and that it has been verified that the necessary safety requirements have been met for the maritime connection between the islands.

The route, which connects the ports of Praia, in Santiago, Vale de Cavaleiros, in Fogo, and Furna, in Brava, is considered strategic for the mobility of passengers and the transportation of goods, especially for the island of Brava, whose dependence on maritime transportation is significant.

The maritime carrier also stresses that it will continue to permanently monitor the evolution of weather conditions and operational information in each port, ensuring a continuous assessment of risks for responsible operational decisions.

"Within the scope of our operations, safety is our main value," the company emphasizes in the statement.

The resumption of travel comes after a period of conditioning caused by adverse weather conditions, which affected navigation in the archipelago, especially in the southern region. Passengers and economic operators are now awaiting the normalization of maritime traffic between the three islands.
