Emergency situation on Brava Island - Zé Luís Solidário Project appeals for help from the Cape Verdean Community
City of Pawtucket, November 23, 2023 (Bravanews) - This afternoon, Brava Island, in Cape Verde, faced a devastating tragedy with a fire that destroyed the house of Mr. Tio, a widower from the Furna area. Mr. Uncle, who had recently lost his wife, now finds himself in an even more difficult situation, as the fire took everything he owned with him, leaving him only with his minor children.
The Zé Luís Solidário Project, an initiative dedicated to helping members of the Cape Verdean community in need, is launching an urgent appeal to all Cape Verdeans, especially those on Brava Island, to come together and offer support to Mr. Tio and his family in this time of need.
Mr. Uncle, who now faces the harsh reality of rebuilding his life and that of his children, needs immediate help to meet his basic needs and rebuild his home. The Zé Luís Solidário Project is seeking donations to assist in this process.
