Cape Verde government inaugurates Diaspora Investor Space in Boston
The initiative aims to strengthen ties with the emigrant community and, at the same time, stimulate sustainable development by boosting private investment
After Lisbon, Boston now has a Diaspora Investor Space, a strategic point created to bring Cape Verdeans living in the United States closer to investment opportunities in the country.
The initiative, promoted by the Government of Cape Verde, aims to strengthen ties with the emigrant community and, at the same time, stimulate sustainable development by boosting private investment.
According to the Executive, this new space will function as a platform for information, guidance and support, allowing entrepreneurs and investors from the Diaspora to find it easier to connect with priority projects and sectors in Cape Verde.
This is another step in the government's commitment to valuing the Diaspora's contribution to national economic growth, focusing on greater integration between the Cape Verdean communities abroad and the country's business fabric.
