Morabeza is a three-time Brava champion. First regional champion of this season
This Sunday, Morabeza became three-time Brava champions. In the game that opened the fifth and penultimate round of the regional football championship, at the Aquiles de Oliveira Stadium, the "Azuis de Nova Sintra" beat Nô Pintcha 2-0.
Striker Fábio was the great figure of the match, scoring both goals.
Morabeza becomes the first team to become regional champion this season in Cape Verde. And, just like last season, they celebrate the title only with victories.
The team led by coach Ney Locô won the championship without conceding a goal, with 15 points in 5 rounds. There is one round left until the end of the championship, which this season featured just four teams.
Nô Pintcha, the only team that still had a mathematical chance of being first, has seven points in second place.
