Morabeza beat No Pinctha 5-0 to win the Brava Super Cup
Morabeza and Nó Pintcha played each other today in the Super Cup, in a game marked by two very different phases and an expressive result. Morabeza came out on top and, in the 11th minute, Sérgio scored the first goal of the season in a fine move between Sérgio and Fufuco.
The match was also marked by two dismissals: Fredy, captain of Nó Pintcha, and Djeury, from Morabeza. In our opinion, the referee was right to send off Fredy for clearly assaulting his opponent in a needless move. On the other hand, the red card shown to Djeury was excessive, since he didn't assault his opponent, but was himself assaulted.
Despite this, Nó Pintcha dominated the first half and created several clear chances. In the second half, Morabeza came back with more determination and, in just 15 minutes, built a 4-0 lead. Towards the end, Nasy made it 5-0.
An unpredictable result, given what Nó Pintcha did in the first half. The joy, passion and unconditional love of the fans was evident at the Aquiles de Oliveira Stadium, despite the intense cold.
