The meeting was attended by the BCA coordinator, Dr. Celmira Cardoso, and the bank's manager in Brava, Paula Reverdes, who together with those responsible for the municipality analyzed various ways of strengthening institutional collaboration, with the aim of improving the services provided to the Bravense population.

The BCA coordinator, Dr. Celmira Cardoso, and the bank's manager in Brava, Paula Reverdes, attended the meeting.

One of the concrete results of this meeting was the announcement of a measure long awaited by the population: the installation of a new ATM terminal in the town of Furna. According to the local authority, the equipment is already on the island and will soon be installed and put into operation.

The installation of the ATM in Furna responds to a long-standing demand from residents and all those who use the port, which is considered the main gateway to and from the island of Brava. The presence of a bank terminal in that location should significantly facilitate access to financial services for both residents and visitors.

According to the town hall, this advance is the result of a joint effort developed over time between the municipality and BCA, involving both the former and current coordination of the banking institution, as well as local management.

The municipality stresses that, more than a simple convenience improvement, the installation of this ATM represents the fulfillment of a commitment made to the population, as part of the strategy of establishing partnerships that contribute to improving living conditions on the island.

The Brava City Council also said that it intends to continue working with the Banco Comercial do Atlântico in the process of decentralizing banking services, and the possibility of installing a new ATM terminal elsewhere on the island in the future is already being considered.
