Brava City Council reinforces fleet to optimize public services
Cidade de Nova Sintra, May 12, 2026 (Bravanews) - The island of Brava now has a new municipal vehicle, acquired as part of a modernization strategy aimed at increasing speed and efficiency in meeting the needs of the community.
The Brava City Council (CMB) recently announced the acquisition of a new vehicle, designed to strengthen the operation of the municipality's services. This investment, according to the municipality, is a response to the need to provide the municipal teams with modern means of transportation, allowing for more efficient coverage of the entire island.
According to the council's press release, this acquisition is part of a wider plan to enhance and renovate the municipality's assets. The Executive stresses that the maintenance and renovation of assets - whether movable or immovable - are priorities to ensure that public goods serve the population with the necessary dignity and quality.
"Maintaining an up-to-date fleet is essential for reducing maintenance costs in the long term and ensuring a higher quality public service," says the municipality.
The new vehicle was purchased through the Support for the Operation of Municipal Services project. The investment was made possible thanks to the financial resources made available to municipalities by the Environment Fund, a tool that has been crucial for improving basic infrastructure and services in the archipelago.
With this reinforcement, the Brava City Council reaffirms its commitment to responding more promptly to the requests of its residents, focusing on closer and more effective management of the territory.
