President of the Municipal Chamber of Brava participates in the opening of the MARAVILHA DO SABOR Cafeteria
The Municipality of Brava participated, through the Mayor, Francisco Tavares and the Councilor of the Departments of Formation and Youth, Mário Soares, with great honor in the opening of the Cafeteria “MARAVILHA DO SABOR” located in the Polivalente de Nossa Sra. Mount.
It is an initiative of the young couple Rosevelte Andrade and Wendy Gomes, in which we wish many successes and we are confident that these young people will provide a quality service that satisfies their customers and Vila de Nossa sra. of the Mount as a whole.
This is the culmination of what was the vision of the City Council, which carried out a profound intervention in all the compartments of that infrastructure, in an investment of more than 16 thousand escudos and, which gave “life” to that space that, at the moment, 100% of the compartments are occupied with different services, thus guaranteeing jobs.
In 2020, the IEFP, through the Center for Employment and Professional Training Fogo-Brava, in partnership with the City Council of Brava, these young people participate in the "Cooking and Pastry" training, so they are able to provide a quality service , also the result of experience gained in other establishments on the island after training.
As an incentive for youth empowerment, the CMB waived the payment of all fees and municipal licenses and lease of the space until the end of the current year.
May examples of this type multiply so that we can also continue to give a positive response towards employment, employability and entrepreneurship to other young people.
